My Friday routine used to consist of leaving work, going straight to the gym for Yoga and Zumba, then crashing at home. Since an injury a few months ago left me unable to take those classes anymore, I am always on the search for fun things to occupy my time. While I don't always need food to be involved just to have a good time, it doesn't hurt when its there. Eat The Streets 757 piqued my interest when I heard about their Food Truck Rodeos happening at MacArthur Center.
Every Friday for the next two months, the areas best food trucks will be out at MacArthur Center in Norfolk serving up food, while people like me can eat, play games, listen to music, and even roller skate (because who doesn't love a good 90's era activity?). I went out last Friday evening as a part of the Eat the Streets, Chew Crew. While I didn't take the opportunity to skate (lets leave that accident for another day), I did meet some people, played a few games and got to chat it up with the different owners of the food trucks. See below for pictures from the event, and for more information, go to their Facebook page.
